Greetings from Chitown...

I'm so sorry about the lack of posts...life has been crazy for the last month and before I knew it I was sitting on a plane picking at a very suspicious looking "salmon" salad. Please plane people...I am reluctant enough to consume the vegetarian pasta option there's no way I'm brave enough to eat the salmon!

So I am at present being a lady of luxury in Chitown which given the quality of shopping here can't be maintained for much longer unless I want to eat baked beans for the next year.I do actually have a few assessments to get a headstart on...Huxley's epiphenomenalism here I come....yay? It's kind of chilly here but not nearly as cold as we expected!

Back to the food....people here are really great and always give us (and sometimes even chauffering us!) to top notch food experiences. So far we have had the best BBQ of our life on arrival day, an amazing goats cheese salad (I know..salad in america!), an evening at Xoco complete with Mr Bayless and his charming self in the flesh and plenty more...as time allows I'll be sure to be posting about it all!

The food here is seriously amazing quality and a super diverse mix of cultures...which is ironic because i'm being incredibly creative and investing alot of time into the cupcake diet. It's really as complex as it sounds. And even Irish themed cupcakes....they are st paddys day crazed over here and kiss me i'm Irish pops up everywhere.I strongly suspect 99.9999% of everyone dressed in top to toe green have nothing to do with anything irish except maybe their second cousin went to ireland once and it's just an excuse to get trashed! Tonight there will be guiness and some sort of corned beef type dinner thingy and drunkard green people falling over everywhere....

Also adventuring this arvo to the mothership that is Williams Sonoma, checking out a new cupcake shop that people are raving about and having a "slice" (serious size understatement) of the sausage pizza at wholefoods which have become somewhat of a weak point...and as my suspiciously healthy non vegan looking checkout hipster friend guy assured me they really are "freaking awesome".
